Program Overview
Motorsport Management
This motorsport management summer term in Milan and the Motor Valley runs for two weeks and is designed for undergraduate and master students. Motorsport Management & Leadership is a two-week summer experience for university students who want a career in the business and leadership of motor racing. Not a degree or a multi-year commitment, it is the most immersive way into the industry while you are still studying, open to far more people than a postgraduate program. You learn the sport where it lives: Italy’s Motor Valley and Lombardy, where the cars are built, the teams are based and the championships are run. Across two weeks you go inside how a motorsport business runs: financing, sponsorship, media rights, talent management, and how winning teams are led under pressure, taught on the ground by the people who run the sport, led by SRO Motorsports Group, creator of modern GT racing. It blends seminars with factory visits, a live race weekend, a leadership module and The Brief: a real commercial challenge pitched to industry decision-makers. Ideal for Business, Management, Sports Management, Marketing, Economics and Automotive Engineering students.
The program is taught inside motorsport’s heartland, Italy’s Motor Valley and Lombardy, where the cars are built, the teams are based and the championships are run. The Motor Valley generates around €12bn and is home to 188 racing teams and constructors, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Dallara, Maserati and Ducati. And the timing matters: motorsport is in its strongest decade, with Formula 1 posting record revenue of $3.87bn in 2025 and sponsorship passing 20% of core revenue for the first time, making commercial and leadership roles some of the most in-demand in the sport.
