Program Overview

Business of Luxury Goods

This business summer program in Milan runs for two weeks and is designed for students aged 15 to 18. The Italian Business Excellence Management (IBEM) program has a strong focus on the luxury sector, where Italian companies excel: Fashion, Automotive, Yachting, Jewelry & Watches, and Hospitality. Unlike traditional business summer programs, ours is extremely hands-on, built to teach skills you won’t find in university textbooks. Students learn the “Made in Italy” managerial model directly from top executives and founders, through company visits, applied workshops and a real business challenge.

The IBEM is headquartered in the heart of Milan, Italy’s economic and financial capital, hosting the stock exchange, major banks, numerous multinational HQs, and a significant portion of Italy’s GDP. Students alternate in-class lectures walking distance from their accommodation with company and innovation district visits across Northern Italy, the country’s primary industrial and economic powerhouse.
